TRADICIONAL ENGLISH COUNTRY DANCES

It was a great day, in the morning we started learning a tradicional dancing with Jo. Although we haven´t got enough space in our classroom we enjoyed a lot and it was a nice way to meet another group. We followed her instructions to learn the dancing as making a circle, holding or droping hands jumping, clapping or swinging with our mates. Everybody was smilling all the time and we felt happy.
Jamie asked for our permission to record the dancing to upload onto Youtube. Finally we met at the conference room to learn how to dance to tradicional music from the British Isles.
After dinner we arrived there, a bit later, as usual, and we were surpraised for the place where the event was going to happen. The environment was amazing and suddenly when the music started to play the women who explain what we have to do, invited us to participate in the dancing. We get to the dance floor and quickly she organized all the people for the first dancing. Although the dance floor looked like huge we were too many people and we felt to be paqued like sardines. Anyway people enjoyed it very much. As we did a lot of physical efforte we needed to recover our power with some traditional English pint of beer.
It is very interesting to feel the difference reactions of people when you have to change your partner and you have to hold his/her hands or to swing with him/her. At the beginning you can fell a bit embarrassed but when the dacing go on you feel more relaxed and funny. Through the dancing we can meet a lot of people from different countries and if you´re lucky you can find any British person who can help you to improve your dancing skills.
The music group was amazing and they played guitar, electric violin and a new musical instrument for us that it´s a kind of drump called "Bodram". They supported the night and when they stopped to play to finish the dancing all people asked them to play another song.

Definitly it was a wonderful night
