NORWICH

On Tuesday, 22nd of June, NILE offered us a guide visit through Norwich. The visit began in the city centre and it toured all interesting places of this city. Norwich is a city situated in the Norfolk council, East Anglia, which is in Eastern England. It is the regional administrative centre.
We started to visit The Forum. At the moment, it is an art gallery and television centre for BBC centre. Also, has the Millennium Library where there are some books collections.
After that, we went to the City Hall. Norwich City Hall was officially opened by the King and Queen on 29 October 1938 but before the centre of the city government from 15th century was the Norwich Guildhall. It is a medieval building and into it you can taste a typical Norwich sweet, it is a Caley’s cocoa.
In front of the Guildhall we saw the Norwich market. It is a nice place to go shopping. It has a different open-air shops which is decorated which many beautiful colours. Near this market, our guide shows us the best shopping centre where you can buy the typical Mustard powder. This mustard has to be mixed with cold water.
Down the street, we visited a nice restaurant named Cinema city. It was building in a medieval house. We continued the tour and the next place to visit was St Andrew’s Hall. It is typical of a medieval English church which hold century paintings of Norwich Mayors.
Finally we visited the Cathedral .The Cathedral is the most complete Norman Cathedral in the UK It has Romanesque features with later Gothic additions.
Norwich has much to offer to the tourist because it is an interesting city with a lot of places to visit.
